Registering for School

Registration for your child can be completed online. While online enrollment is strongly encouraged, we understand that some may not be able to complete everything online (i.e. - those needing assistance turning in documents virtually).

  • STEP 1: Enroll your child online (required for every registrant)https://portals08.ascendertx.com/ParentPortal/login?distid=060902
  • STEP 2: (only if needed): Call to request an in-person appointment (only for registrants needing a face-to-face appointment)
    • In-person appointments are primarily scheduled for those having difficulty submitting documents online or via email.
  • STEP 3: Registration is NOT COMPLETE until the documentation is reviewed and processed by District staff. Submissions will be processed throughtout the spring and summer. Parents will receive a welcome letter via email once the process and enrollment is complete.

If your student previously attended CISD please contact the school office at 903-395-2111 before registering as a new student.

Required Documents for Registration

  • Student’s Certified Birth Certificate 
  • Student’s Shot Record
  • Student’s Social Security Card
  • Proof of Residency in the form of a current (within last 30 days) electric, gas, water bill or lease agreement.
  • Parent/Legal Guardian’s Government Issued Photo Identification
  • Any Legal documentation pertaining to custody
