I am a co-author with David Pickering  of Brushmen and Viglantes: Civil War Dissent in Texas, Texas A & M Press 2000. 

I am a coauthor with Sylvia Wood of Delta County Images, Arcadia Press, 2011.

I am the coaurthor with Sylvia Wood of  Between the Sulphurs: A HIstory of Delta County Texas, Volume 1, 2014. Sylvia and I are currently working on Volume 2 of Between the Sulphurs.

I have presented papers  of the East Texas Historical Association in  2009 and 2010.

    I have taught at Rains High School, Emory, Texas, Cooper Elementary School, Cooper,Texas, Texas A & M Elementary Education Department, Commerce, Texas,  Roxton Jurnior and Senior  High School, Roxton, Texas, and Paris Junior College.

     I worked for the Texas  House of Representative in 1969 as the House Receptionist, and I worked for Ralph Hall as an intern in Washington D. C. in 2012,

     I  am married to Sam Falls, and we have two children, Matthew and Callie. We have 5 grandchildren.
