Began teaching in l992 at Honey Grove ISD.  I was a first grade teacher there for one year.

In 1993, a position came available for a first grade teacher at North Hopkins ISD ( which happens to be where my mother graduated from).  During the summer following that move, I received a call from Cooper ISD.  They had a position in first grade at the elementary campus!  I grabbed the chance to return to my alma mater I taught first grade at the elementary until the Librarian position opened in 2006.  I LOVE my job!  I get to see all the kids every week!  Amazing to see so much passion...

Married to Benny Davis and we have 5 children between us  Lisa and husband Gary live in Rockwall….Stacey and husband Eric live in Lanatan….Lori and husband Shawn live in Cheyenne Wyoming..Chris and wife Lauren live in Scholharie, NY….and Joney lives in Euless.  We have 10 wonderful grandchilren..

I love teaching children how to see the world in a different way...how to be educated in the world around them...and how to succeed outside of small community.  I love taking pictures of everyone and everything around me.  Photography is one of my greatest hobbies.
